Winter Hiking in Georgia : High Falls State Park

On Friday, Shane and I had a scenic drive out towards Jackson, GA to visit High Falls State Park. It turned out to be a nice hike through the nearly silent forest. The water was ever present as we crossed over many springs that spilled into the Towaliga river. (By the way, Towaliga means roasted scalp) We also spied an 1890s power house. A beautiful spot. You should go if you are in the neighborhood!! :)
